Traditional mechanical wristwatch movement needs to be adjusted for several times by the watch makers then it could be launched into the market. All the adjustments can assure the precise running of the wristwatch. Surprisingly, Cartier firstly launched the wristwatch that has no need to be adjusted.
Producing such a wristwatch is not an easy task. It requires perfect manufacturing and assembling from the beginning. It has to undergo below adjustments when the watch maker begin to assemble it.
Firstly, it needs to be adjusted subtly by screws, or clear the grime of the balance wheel to confirm the balance and accuracy.
Secondly, adjust the length of balance wheel.
Thirdly, adjust the ruby on the anchor-shaped escapement axis to assure the complete fitness of the escapement parts.
While sometimes, errors may happen during the movement adjustment for the influence of the magnetic field, the dramatic change of the temperature, the running up the lubricating oil and etc. This unimaginable technique is ascribed to the monobloc balance wheel crafted from carbon crystal. This part is in complete balanced statement once it is finished.
The wristwatch with the hairspring length cautiously calculated the most ideal chronograph function. The technology of micron sculpture can make the hairspring length completely match the balance wheel, and the escapement fork and wheel are absolutely harmonious with each other from the beginning of assembling.
Besides, the silent-blocks equipment outside the frame of escapement system can protect the subtly adjustable parts like hairspring, balance wheel, escapement fork and wheel, and escapement axis. These parts are crafted from the carbon crystal which is capable to resist the temperature difference and magnetic field. The movement parts are crafted from carbon crystal or coated with ADLC, bringing the friction to the lowest level. It is a pity that this conception wristwatch is not produced for commercial sales.
